When I heard for the first time this album I said: "What the hell is this? Madness?". I heard it again after six months, and then was love between me and Slipknot. It was full of anger, it was crazy, it was METAL!!! The songs are like a machine gun which destroys your brain, Corey's voice is unthinkable, the power of the songs is unfightable!!! You can feel a brain damage from the first second of this record, where "Mr. 133MHz" Craig Jones (what a crazy motherfucker!!!) hits you with his "742617000027". Then it's power and madness!!! "(SIC)" is like a Monsoon which destroys everything, "Eyeless" is only MADNESS (there are no other words to describe this masterpiece), "Wait and Bleed" is short and hits you direct like a punch on the nose, "Surfacing" is...is...oh my fuckin', what a song!!! Is energy, is destructive, is SURFACING!!! XD The record continues with "Spit It Out", a song written to become a classic for this 9 pieces of shit and so it is: "Not till I say JUMPDAFUCKUP!!!". \,,/ "Tattred And Torn" is the reign of Craig & Sid: a psychological song made special by this two crazt motherfuckers and they're electronics. "Me Inside", "Liberate", "Prosthetics", "No Life", "Diluted", "Only One": these songs are six pieces of inner turbolence and violence!!! Six songs which render the idea of what Slipknot is...is something more than a word...something more than a group...is great...is angry...is a group made by real people...by nine crazy motherfuckers with one mission: make you feel their emotion and their being. At the end of this masterpiece we have another great unbelievable song: "Scissors". What can I say? The song speaks itself!!! :) Then we have "Get This", "Interloper" and "Despise"(which will become Purity after a good work by Corey MTRFKN' Taylor and Mr. Shawn "Clown" Crahan) as bonus tracks of this great Digipack Version for "The Masterpiece Of Nu-Metal".
