1) Our world is sleeping, late at night/Guns and war are turning people red...In the West, we are safe in our beds/No One but you can reach the light...Nearing the end, we’ll lose our plight/ All your family and friends have fled...Never in your life, have you been led/ No one but you can end the fight... In an instant, feel the weight/Of nothing but a precious dime...Everyone is filled with hate/You, alone are wasting their time...During your sleep, dream of fate/ Nobody else can stop the crime..........................2) On a freezing winter’s display/ The birds are starting to cry...Life just seems to flutter by/ You can’t stop it, neither can they...We are all waiting for that day/When someone else starts to fly...Freedom in the sacred sky/Most of us will not find our way... Life is just a little rung/None of us can even shout...Not all of us are young/We are now, filled up with doubt...The famous songs are sung/ Of which, we could be without
