So today was interesting... At least in 2nd period, haha.
I was called out today in 2nd period art to go to a classroom to witness a lecture from a guest graphic artist. Hesitantly, I went to the class and kinda just sat there like "wtf" and then shortly was joined by 2 other people from my class.
So this guy was really kind of awkward, but more into his speech he got more comfortable I guess and actually got me thinking about art as a future career.
You see, I'm really not sure as to what to do career wise... I'm kind of caught between two things I really like. Art and Music. I actually want to be an elementary school teacher, and hopefully teach a music class there. If I don't do that, I at least want to study art. I'm ok, but I never really had formal instruction, so art is still something I'm more naturally talented at (I'm very new to the media, etc.) - I'm not very book smart about it.
Art is really really interesting though, there's so much out there for it, just like music. I just don't know what I will do... looks like this is something I really need to sit down and think about.
Any suggestions or comments???
