I am so sick and tired of people saying "All Hope Is Gone" is slipknot's worse album simply because they this it isn’t as heavy as all their other albums!
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I completely respect that. But please have some legitimate reason to back it off. I’ve read this in many places over the internet “ALL HOPE IS GONE is slipknot’s worse album by far. It’s not as heavy as Iowa or their self-titled album.” People are judging Slipknot simply because All Hope Is Gone is DIFFERENT. Just because All Hope Is Gone isn’t some duplicate of their previous albums. Since when do people judge “good music” based on how heavy the album is? Just because it isn’t as heavy doesn’t make it a bad album. Now if that doesn’t appeal to you that’s a whole different story but do not go around judging an album just because it’s not ‘heavy’ to your ears. I personally think All Hope Is Gone is brilliant. And come on people listen to All Hope Is Gone, Gematria (the killing name), Wherein Lies Continue, Psychosocial, This Cold Black, Child of Burning Time, Sulfur, Vendetta, Butcher’s Hook, Snuff, Gehenna, Dead Memories, ‘Til We Die, Execute (Listen to the last min of that song it blows your fucking mind!) and tell me you can sit still without head banging, or without singing your lungs out along with Corey’s voice. Tell me you can just sit there still during all the guitar/drum solos and say this album doesn’t move you and this album isn’t great. ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR FUCKING MIND!? AND HOLY SHIT HAVE YOU LISTENED TO THE LYRICS AND THE MESSAGE BEHIND EVERY SINGLE SONG!? So yea in conclusion this blog goes out to all the people out there saying “All Hope Is Gone” is NOT a great motherfucking album. Like I said everyone is entitled to their own opinion…and you know what I think? I THINK YOU’RE WRONG! YES YOU ARE! I THINK YOU’RE FULL OF SHIT IF YOU THINK THIS ALBUM ISNT ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS CREATED BY SLIPKNOT. Ok I’m done =D
